I’m an economist and for the last (almost) twenty years I’ve been part of the remarkable story of Frontier Economics: a new type of business that was set up to be owned and controlled by its employees, that we’ve built to be one of largest consultancy firms of its kind in Europe.

During the working day, I’m an expert advisor on antitrust and regulatory investigations, working on cases at the European Commission, the UK Competition and Markets Authority and some other regulators and Courts around the world. 

When I have some free time I write this blog about competition and law, regulation, and economics in general. For those of you who follow me on LinkedIn, this blog captures all the articles I have been posting there over the years, and will be the new home for that content.

At home I’ve got three kids, two dogs and some chickens. I owe everything to the incredible Dr Rachel Foster who has been the love of my life since I was 19 years old, and is the real intellectual and emotional brains of the whole operation.

I love cookery, I acquired a lockdown obsession with gardening, will make any excuse to buy new tools and would like to run a half marathon in less than two hours one day. I am trying not to be overweight, but there are still quite a lot of calories in wine.
